Image processing IP (Intelligent Pixel Engine)

IPE is a programmable image processing engine which achieves low power consumption and low latency in hardware and flexibility in software by adopting virtual engine technology.
Provides an embedded solution for rapidly increasing intelligent image sensing applications.
Can be used to build a simple and compact system as intermediary control processor is not required. Lessens considerably development effort.
Providing evaluation board.
[Using 2 Altera CycloneV (300KLE)]

Accelerates OpenCV, OpenVX etc API's, and can provide engine for users algorithm.
Low power consumption for embedded uses (1/10 compared to software processing).
High performance low latency for automotive use.
Full HD image processing simultaneously on 4 channel (operating at 200MHz), Line unit latency (micro sec. order).
Scenario based coding to simplify algorithm (GUI coding possible), Can be controlled separately from CPU so resource arbitration not necessary.

Other IPs

Developed a high performance low-bug IP by having know how of circuit technology and by careful selection of common use parts. Can also customize IP according to users requirements.
Developed general purpose IPs from processor to SDRAM controller.

Compact high performance GPU (P-Cube)
VLIW type SIMD processor easily customizable (number of processors, number of registers, instruction set, operator types etc.).
General purpose cache/MMU implementing internal SDRAM control (E=mc²)
(Number of masters, number of slaves, cache construction), Setting (Memory Map, priority) are all variable.
High performance audio signal processor using floating point precision (ASP)
Multitude of audio can be individually filtered (N scale FIR), Rate transform, Modulation, and mixing at arbitrary volume.

Evaluation Board

FPGA board consisting of ARM processor and general purpose IO such as Ethernet or USB.
Consists of Altera SoC FPGA (CycloneV) and 2 general purpose FPGA (CycloneV) mutually connected by high speed transciever.
Implementing image processing IP IPE (Intelligent Pixel Engine) Standalone or PCI connected evaluation is possible.
